Rotaro in United Kingdom
Pardner, Susu, Ajo, Esusu, Chama, Njangi, Mukando, Tanda
Whether your circle is a pardner, a susu, an ajo or a chama, it runs the same way: everyone pays in on schedule, and each round one member takes the pot. Rotaro gives the group one record everybody can check, in pounds, with the group's data kept in the United Kingdom.
How a group pays
Members pay the round's recipient directly, by bank transfer, and mark it in the app. The recipient confirms, and only then does it count.
The organiser pays for a plan on this website, by bank or by card, through a payment provider. Members pay Rotaro nothing.
What runs today
- Groups in pounds, paid by bank transfer between members and confirmed by the recipient.
- Reminders by push, email and text; WhatsApp reminders in one tap for the organiser.
- Free for small groups; paid plans for bigger ones, paid by the organiser on this website.
- Rotations capped at twelve rounds and twelve months, so a circle stays a circle.
What comes next
- The App Store and Google Play apps.
- Secure Pot, with a regulated partner holding the pot, by waitlist.
Secure Pot
Secure Pot, where a regulated partner holds the pot and pays it out automatically, is not available yet. You can join the waitlist from inside the app, and we will tell you when it launches in the United Kingdom.
